1. Terms of Use
This website, marriage-agency.tokyo (the “Site”), is operated by HK2 INTERNATIONAL Limited Liability Company (“we”, “us”), trading as Marriage Agency Harmony. By using the Site or sending us the registration form, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
- Eligibility. Our service is for unmarried adults aged 18 or over who are seriously considering marriage. It is not intended for anyone under 18. We may decline or cancel a registration at our discretion, for example when the information given is incomplete or untrue.
- Accurate information. Please give us true and current information, and tell us when it changes. Photo 1 on the registration form is used to confirm your identity.
- Copyright. The text, photographs, illustrations and other material on the Site belong to us or to the persons who have allowed us to use them. Please do not copy, redistribute or modify them without our written permission, except where the copyright law of Japan expressly allows it.
- No warranty. We take care to keep the Site accurate, but we do not guarantee that its content is complete, correct or up to date. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Site or its content.
- Changes. We may change or discontinue the Site, its content and these terms without notice. The current version is always the one published on this page.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance. If any part of these terms is held invalid, the rest remains in effect.
2. Travel Arrangements
We are not a travel agency.
We do not arrange, book, or pay for flights, transport, or accommodation, and we do not act as a booking agent for them.
For meetings, whether in Japan or abroad, our staff set up the meeting, interpret for you, and accompany you.
Please make and pay for your own travel and accommodation arrangements.

航空券・交通機関・宿泊施設のお手配、ご予約の代行、費用の立替は一切行っておりません。
海外でのお見合いでは、お見合いの席の設定・通訳・お付き添いを当社スタッフが承ります。
交通機関や宿泊は、会員様ご自身でお手配・お支払いをお願いしております。
3. Privacy Policy
We handle your personal data in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you send the registration form, we receive the information you enter: your name, nationality, place of residence, date of birth, marital status and children, physical description, education, languages, occupation, religion, lifestyle (smoking, alcohol, tattoos, sports, hobbies), character, your wishes about a partner and about life in Japan, passport status, email address, phone or messenger contact, postal address (optional), the staff member in charge, and up to five photographs. Photo 1 is used to confirm your identity. We also receive the personal data you give us later by email, phone, messenger or video call.
How we use it
- To interview you and complete your registration.
- To introduce you to Japanese men registered with us. We send them your profile and photographs, and we may publish your profile and photographs on our Japanese-language website for members (harmony-jp.com). Your full name, exact date of birth, contact details, occupation and education are not published there.
- To send you the profiles, photographs and approach letters of Japanese men, and to arrange meetings when both of you wish to meet.
- To contact you about your registration and our service.
Who can see it
Your data is seen by our staff and counselors, and by Japanese male members as described above. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it or you ask us to.
Where it is kept and how it is protected
Your data is stored on the server of this website in Japan and in our email and office records. We protect it with reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), login protection, and access limited to the staff who need it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your registration is active and for as long as needed to provide our service and to meet our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to stop using it for introductions, or to delete it. Please write to contacts@marriage-agency.tokyo. We will reply within a reasonable time, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.
Third-party services on this website
- Cloudflare Turnstile protects the registration form against spam. When the form is displayed, your browser connects to Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser information in order to tell people from bots.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on the Site. Your browser loads them from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address in the process.
At present we do not use advertising or analytics trackers on the Site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest revision is shown at the end of this page.
